No matter its age or form, we aim to provide a convenient and hassle-free experience and competitive prices for Stessco owners. With our flexible approach, you can sell confidently, knowing you’ll receive a fair deal, regardless of the boat’s condition.
Have a look at all the Stessco conditions we accept:

Whether your vessel is in your Brisbane home or on coastal waters, we can retrieve it on the same or the next business day. Even if you’re just after a free removal, we can help.
With outlets in every Australian capital city, we can typically remove your vehicle within 24 hours. That’s what makes us one of the country's quickest unwanted car removal companies. Our payments are made through Osko, meaning you get paid fast.
At 1800 Salvage, we’re more than just a vehicle buying service — we’re a family-run Australian business built on trust, transparency, and care. From our family to yours, we make selling your vehicle simple, fast, and fair.
We understand that you still may have questions about how our money-for-Stessco process works. The team at 1800 Salvage is more than happy to answer.
Certainly! At 1800 Salvage, we can purchase your trailer along with your Stessco vessel. Our goal is to provide you with a hassle-free experience, ensuring that you can trade in your boat and trailer conveniently and efficiently. Please let us know if you want to sell them both so we can quote you accordingly.
We honour our quoted price as long as your Stessco has been accurately described and represented. However, if discrepancies are found, we may need to adjust our offer accordingly. Please note that towing call-out fees may apply in such cases.
1800 Salvage typically cannot buy vehicles that are still under finance. However, we can assist you in removing any encumbrance you may have. Occasionally, our purchase price exceeds your outstanding amount. In such cases, with a valid payout letter from your finance company, we can manage your loan and transfer the surplus funds to you. Alternatively, if our offer matches the unpaid portion, we can settle your finances in exchange for the vehicle. Speak to our friendly team to find out how we can assist you.
Due to the complexities surrounding sunken ships, we cannot purchase vessels in this condition. If you want to remove your sunken Stessco, we recommend contacting a towing company specialising in these retrievals. They have the expertise and equipment necessary to assist you effectively.
All quotes from 1800 Salvage remain valid for 14 days, providing you with sufficient time to consider your options. Should you require an extension on your appraisal, simply inform us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Rest assured, re-evaluation comes at no additional cost to you, ensuring transparency and flexibility throughout the process.
Absolutely not. We buy all vehicles unlicenced and do not require a registration transfer. Remove your vessel’s sticker tags before your boat collection to avoid confusion.
Please fill out the ‘Cancellation of Registration’ form through your local Transport Department. You can be eligible for a refund for any remaining time left.
If you have any questions about us or our services, our friendly team will be happy to help.
